OUR WEEK 9 MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PICKS

We try to lay out a few Over/Unders that we feel good about for each slate, and encourage you to take our advice, but put your own twist on it! We aren't perfect, but we try to help you make the most informed entries you can! We recommend picking two players and doing a Flex play!

Disclaimer: Ugly games are hard to predict. This was a hard game to make our picks on - haha! Cam Newton - 20 - UNDER

Cam was dynamite for the first two games of the season but has been pretty mediocre since coming back from the covid reserve list. He's been under 20 points in each of his last 4 starts. Yes, the Jets are terrible...but they are so terrible, that we don't think Cam is going to have to sling it and go Superman to win. Other good fantasy QB's like Allen and Fitzpatrick have put up games under 20 points vs the jets this year as well. However, it is Cam...so if he starts to take off running and secures a rushing TD, he probably will break our projection and go over.

Jamison Crowder - 12 - OVER

Crowder has been phenomenal when he has been healthy this season. He is averaging 19.8 ppr points per game, which is well above this 12 mark. In two games with Joe Flacco, Crowder has had 15 receptions on 23 targets for 164 yards and a TD. As long as Crowder is fully healthy and plays the full game, we feel pretty good about this over.

James White - 8.5 - UNDER

One weekly strategy could be taking the under on one Patriots running back. They’re so unpredictable week to week in who will get the majority of carries and targets, so there’s a reason to just avoid picking Patriots RBs in general. On the other hand, you know that with any Patriots RB, there is a chance they get schemed out of the game. That gives us a handful of semi-related ways White could hit the under here. (1) The Patriots use Damien Harris & Rex Burkhead more and White gets limited touches. (2) The Patriots get ahead early and don’t have to throw much, which cuts down on White’s role as the receiving back. (3) White gets dinged up early and sits much of the game, a la Justin Jackson this week.

We don’t feel great at all about this pick. But if you’re desperate for another pick to add to your flex play this week, picking the under on a Patriots running back is at least playing the odds at some level

*We encourage all players to enter responsibly. Only do entries within your means and stop if it is no longer enjoyable to you.
