OUR WEEK 11 MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PICKS
We try to lay out a few Over/Unders that we feel good about for each slate, and encourage you to take our advice, but put your own twist on it! We aren't perfect and we can't see the future - our goal is merely to help you make the most informed entries you can. We recommend picking two players and doing a Flex play to hedge your bets if one game doesn't go the way you expect. Kyler Murray - 27.9 points - OVER
Kyler has been on fire this season, averaging 30.1 points per game. Seattle is ranked 32nd in the league for fantasy points allowed to fantasy QBs. So yes...you have the #1 fantasy QB going up against the #32 defense against fantasy QBs. 27.9 points is a high mark, and you’re going to have to sweat most of the game until Murray hits it, but we feel pretty good about the over here!
DeAndre Hopkins - 22 points - OVER
The Seahawks are a dream matchup for wide receivers. Last week, Seattle had a surprisingly good game, only letting Josh Reynolds put up 17.4 points while keeping Woods and Kupp under 10. However - that is definitely an outlier. In week 9, Seattle let three WRs go off (Stefon Diggs - 20.8, John Brown - 17.9, and Gabriel Davis - 17.) Oh! And do you remember in week 7 when the Cardinals played the Seahawks the first time? Hopkins put up 23.30 points, going 10/12 for 103 and a TD. We’re taking the Kyler/Hopkins stack here, and banking on them both going over!
DK Metcalf - 17.4 points - OVER
We’re expecting this to be a shootout. We’re predicting the Cardinals to put up a ton of points on the Seahawk's terrible defense, and we’re banking on the clutch Russel Wilson working his magic to keep the Seahawks in it. With Lockett sidelined most of the week (and possibly out or limited on Thursday), the Seahawks are going to have no other option than force-feeding DK Metcalf. In the last matchup, DK was shadowed by Cardinals star CB Patrick Peterson, and he only put up 4.8 points, but if you watched the game, you know that DK had a massive game-winning TD called back, that would have put him up around this 17.4 mark. While DK was locked down, Lockett WENT OFF, scoring 53 points. With Lockett either slow or out for this game - those opportunities are going to get pushed over to DK!
Larry Fitzgerald - 8.5 points - UNDER
We have to take the UNDER somewhere, right? This game should be a shootout with lots of players putting up big stat lines, but we think Larry Fitzgerald is the guy who can fall through the cracks. Fitzgerald has only gone for over 8.5 points in 3 games this year (although, one of those games was against the Seahawks in week7). Usually, we are scared to take the under on a line this low, because all it takes is one TD to break the line. But Fitzgerald hasn’t scored a single TD this year and only has 4 targets in the red zone. If you take a TD off the table, then Larry probably has to come down 5+ catches to hit this line. We’re okay taking the UNDER here.
