PRIZE PICKS: Week 16 Christmas Day!

Prize Picks is our new favorite way to play daily fantasy football! Out of the fantasy playoffs? No problem! Set a lineup or two in Prize Picks and you're back in the game! Think tonight is going to be an ugly train wreck? Pick lots of UNDERS and win real money today! Entries are so simple, they can be made in less than 60 seconds. On PrizePicks, you simply select 2, 3, 4, or 5 players and predict if they will go over or under their fantasy projection.

*If you have already signed up with code FantasyHQ - you are already entered!

We try to lay out a few Over/Unders that we feel good about for each slate, and encourage you to take our advice, but put your own twist on it! We aren't perfect and we can't see the future - our goal is merely to help you make the most informed entries you can.

**We recommend either playing a 3 or 5 player FLEX game** For Monday & Thursday night single games, we typically recommend the 3 player flex! **

Week 16 - Christmas Day

*Reminder - points are in PPR format!

Drew Brees vs MIN - 20 points - UNDER (Jared) Drew Brees looked nothing like himself last week, completing just 15 of 34 passes and really only becoming fantasy-relevant through three second-half TDs with the Saints frantically playing catch-up. Two of those TDs were dumpoffs to RBs who racked up yards-after-catch to get into the end zone. Against a weak rushing defense like Minnesota, those passing TDs can easily turn into rushes and sap points away from Brees. We're just fine with the under here, figuring the Saints will trend more to the run this week.

Jared Cook vs MN - 7 points - OVER (Trent)

Jared Cook has been having a pretty quiet fantasy season so far, currently sitting as the TE19 in ppr scoring. In Brees’s return last week, Cook only had 2 receptions for 29 yards, which I think is why his projection is so low this week. With Michael Thomas on IR, and Tre’Quan Smith battling an injury, Cook should see plenty of targets. He can get 7 points even with an ugly stat line like 4 for 30 yards. I like the OVER!

Justin Jefferson vs NO - 16.5 points - OVER (Jared) Jefferson is in the mix to break the NFL record for rookie receiving yardage, and has proven himself to be a reliable target-hog who's been over this line in five of his last six games. Saints corner Marshon Lattimore will be a stiff test, but he's been too up-and-down this season to expect a complete shut-down job on Jefferson, especially when the Vikings like to move Jefferson and Thielen around the field to isolate better matchups. Take at least one more over on Jefferson's magical rookie season.

Lower Confidence... Dalvin Cook @ NO - 21 points - OVER (Trent)

The Saints are the top-ranked run defense in the league, but we’ve learned Dalvin Cook is matchup proof. He put up 19 points vs the Bucs and 26.9 vs the Bears over the last two weeks. 21 points vs the best run defense in the league is quite a high line...but if anyone can get it - it‘s Cook! The Saints have also looked a little more penetrable on the ground over the last two weeks, letting both the Eagles and Chiefs running backs put up big numbers. We think Cook can get it done and hit the 21 mark!

Alvin Kamara vs MN 22 points - OVER

22 is a crazy high line...but, Kamara has been over it 7 times this year, and the Vikings are pretty bad at stopping the run. They let up 29.2 to David Montgomery last week, 15.4 to Ronald Jones in week 14, and 22.8 points to James Robinson in week 13. We think Kamara should be able to shred the Vikes through the air, and on the ground. The big question is probably whether he can get into the endzone or not. It's going to be pretty hard to hit 22 without finding the endzone at least once.

So what do you think? Agree with some of our takes, and disagree with others? Enter YOUR picks on Prize Picks today!
